Bio
Noisy Canvas is Graeme Lees - composer, professional musician and teacher for more than 20 years.
As a teacher he has taught many students from beginners to advanced musicians aged from 7 to 65. Helping budding guitarists to enjoy music and play the guitar. He has run a successful teaching practice in Maseru (Lesotho) and Ladybrand from 2004 to 2012. The American International School of Lesotho and Maseru Preparatory formed part of the teaching practice among others. At present he also teaches at a primary and high school in Fish Hoek and Newlands in Cape Town. He has also appeared as session musician and arranger on a number of albums that are commercially available. As a composer he has had works shortlisted for ISCM World Music Days, composed for film and composed works for orchestral and chamber ensembles. |
